Role Overview:
The Content & Marketing Associate will play a key role across both the content and marketing functions at Rostrum.
This is role that combines content research, writing support, and editorial assistance with hands-on marketing execution and campaign coordination. The position is designed for someone who enjoys both the creative and operational aspects of marketing, from brainstorming content ideas to helping execute campaigns that reach students and parents.

The associate will work closely with the Content Lead to support Rostrum’s growing content initiatives across blogs, social media, newsletters and marketing campaigns, while also assisting the marketing team with campaign implementation, CRM management, and outreach initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to content strategy, digital marketing workflows, and campaign operations within the global education sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Research and Development
  • Conduct structured research on topics related to global university admissions, higher education trends, academic opportunities, and student journeys
  • Assist the Content Lead in developing blog posts, articles, reports, and long-form educational content
  • Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency before publication
  • Source relevant references, data points, examples, and supporting research to strengthen content credibility
  • Identify and source images, visual references, and supporting assets for blogs, social media, and marketing materials
  • Contribute to content ideation sessions and help generate new ideas for blogs, social media series, reports, and campaigns

Marketing Campaign Execution
  • Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and announcements
  • Upload and manage email campaigns using tools such as Zoho Campaigns or similar platforms
  • Assist in maintaining and updating CRM databases, campaign lists, and audience segments
  • Help coordinate marketing initiatives including webinars, seminars, information sessions, and student outreach programs
  • Ensure campaign content is scheduled, uploaded, and distributed on time across relevant platforms
  • Work with internal teams to gather content, assets, and information required for marketing campaigns
  • Maintain basic campaign tracking metrics including email performance, engagement, and outreach responses
  • Assist in organizing and documenting campaign workflows and marketing processes

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1–3 years of experience in content, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools or CRM platforms such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Mailchimp is a plus
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing workflows, campaigns, and audience engagement
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in content accuracy and formatting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
